The Women of Nsongwe is a short documentary told in the voices of women farmers in Zambia for whom agriculture is their path to independence. This film was made as a result of Dena Seidel’s science storytelling model filmed and edited by undergraduate student Jeanpaul Issaac under Dena’s academic supervision. This short film features the USAID funded research of Professor Jim Simon and his African based NGO ASNAPP-Zambia partners working with this rural community.
